/human
A protocol for AI–human transparency. Append /human to any root domain to reveal that site's AI-Human Interaction Policy. Written by humans, for humans.
Six relationships every site owes the humans on the other end.
The protocol is organised by who the site is in relationship with — the planet, the commons, the individual, labor, community, and the user. Each domain has concrete fields.
Material
Energy, water, and materials consumed by inference. kWh and litres per call, grid mix, hardware refresh cycle, embodied carbon.
Cultural
IP and consent, disinformation stance, sacred boundaries. What this system refuses to imitate, and how synthetic media is labeled.
Human
No training on user data. No sale. Portable exit with a real SLA, and verified deletion when you walk away.
Economic
Who owns the models and the servers. Who tagged the data, where they live, what they were paid, whether they're named.
Relational
Healing commitments and give-back mechanisms. Acknowledged harm, restorative payments, compute gifted to the commons.
AI
Disclosure when you're talking to a machine, and a real path to a human. Right-sized models, on-device options when possible.
One promise.
One URL.
Plain language.
Following the precedent of robots.txt (1994) and security.txt (RFC 8615), every site can publish a /human page. We deliberately show it as prose — the disclosure is for the people on the other end, not for crawlers.
